How do I become a licensed accountant or auditor in Cyprus?

The competent authority is the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). Applicants must be a member of a recognized Body of Professional Accountants, have completed three years of practical experience working as an employee or sub-contractor with at least two of those years completed after admission to membership, and have passed the examinations LW Cyprus Corporate and Business Law and TX Cyprus Taxation; for statutory auditors, at least one of the two years of practical experience must be in audit work. Fees include member registration of 60 euros, annual subscription of 200 euros, a practicing certificate of 300 euros, a statutory auditor annual fee of 100 euros, an administrative services certificate of 150 euros, and an insolvency practitioner initial fee of 350 euros. The applicant is informed of the registration or authorization decision within two months from the date the application was duly submitted, and the licence is valid until the 31st of December of the year of issue. Applications are submitted through PSC Cyprus, by contacting ICPAC directly, or electronically through the ICPAC website.
