The applicant must be a registered pharmacist in the Republic of Cyprus, or a company under the management and control of a registered pharmacist who owns at least 51% of the company's shares; the pharmacy must occupy an independent shop complying with the Streets and Buildings Law and provide the necessary facilities and arrangements for easy accessibility for persons with disabilities. There are no fees applicable. The applicant is informed of the authorization decision within three months from the date the application was duly submitted, and three on-site inspections are carried out before approval.
