What licence do I need to work as a real estate agent in Cyprus?

The competent authority is the Real Estate Agents Registration Council, located in Strovolos, Nicosia. Requirements include EU citizenship (or being the spouse or child of an EU citizen with habitual residence in Cyprus), no bankruptcy or legal disability, no conviction for dishonesty or moral indecency, a relevant diploma or degree from a minimum three-year course plus 12 months professional experience as a deputy agent (or a relevant master's degree), and passing a written examination on real estate and town planning legislation. Fees are 100 euros for the registration application, 350 euros for the registration certificate, 250 euros for the annual licence, and 20 euros for the real estate agent ID card, with renewal at 250 euros plus 20 euros. The applicant is informed of the registration decision within three months from the date the application form and supporting documents were duly submitted.
