The city's seafront is becoming an address, and the numbers are following the view.
Ten years ago the Limassol seafront was a working coastline. Today it is a row of glass towers with berths at their feet, and apartments that change hands before the concrete has cured. The marina has done what no masterplan could: it has given the city a centre of gravity.
What the buyers are paying for is not square metres but a way of living, morning swims, an evening walk to dinner, a boat within sight of the bedroom. The premium is real, and for now it shows no sign of softening.
